I haven't seen today's Top Gear yet, and I know this is the last episode of the season, but I'm afraid I haven't laughed that much during the past 5 episodes. That's a problem, Top Gear. That's a problem.

I'm of the opinion that this season has been quite good and a return to form after a few decent-but not-great seasons.

The rental car was cool and James getting beat up on the sailboat was fun, the taxi race was obviously staged which actually made it funnier, Spain was cool, the HoverVan had me in stitches and the caravan race through the woods was a hoot.

The test have been good. That bit on the Singer 911 was good. The Hot Hatch test ended with Jeremy recommending the GT86 over all three, classic contradiction and waste of time review, they made a great case for the BAC mono and the SLS test was a great look at where electric sports cars are headed.

I didn't like the BBC building race. That's about it.

I'm afraid you won't laugh much at the season finale as it is full of facts and really good , except for the star in the car bit, that was entertaining.
